The Sansevero Chapel will make an extraordinary opening and couples will only pay for one ticket
The initiatives in the romantic field continue 2015 Kiss Festival. The beautiful Cappella Sansevero, in fact, it will guarantee an extraordinary opening on Saturday 28 March from hours to 18.30 22.00 (the last valid entry will be at 21.40). Exceptionally couples will only pay an entrance ticket.
Furthermore, there will be an original photographic contest entitled Share your shot, thanks to which visitors will be allowed to photograph and photograph in the Museum and publish images on various social networks, sharing their cultural experience.
The Sansevero Chapel, in fact, is one of the most important noble museums in Naples, commissioned by the noble alchemist Raimondo di Sangro. It is a deconsecrated church, used by the princes of Sansevero as a place of worship. The fame of the museum is mainly linked to the opera il Veiled Christ, a marble sculpture made by Giuseppe Sanmartino, life-size representing Our Lord Jesus Christ covered by a marble shroud transparent that adheres perfectly to its forms and which highlights the marks on the face and body of the martyrdom of the Crucifixion.
In the monumental complex you can also admire paintings, monuments and statues dedicated to the Sansevero and the Anatomical Machines, two stripped bodies that meticulously show the entire circulatory system.
