In the evocative scenery of the Magna Grecia temples, the fifth edition of the International Balloon Festival in Paestum will be held
If you missed the International Meeting of Hot-air Balloons in Fragneto Monforte, our region offers you another opportunity to witness the incredible chromatic spectacle of the “giants of the sky”, in an exceptional location.
From the 4 12 October 2014 the fifth edition of the Balloon Festival in Paestum, in the heart of Magna Graecia, in a magical and evocative setting where you can watch the balloons fly over the ancient temples.
Il Paestum Balloon Festival it is the largest balloon event in Southern Italy and attracts thousands of people from all over the region every year. This year 30.000 visitors are expected, and more than 20 free flights will be held in the skies of Paestum-Capaccio.
It will be possible, for those who wish, to get to the heart of the event by booking a free fly on a hot air balloon (in the morning from 7.30 hours and in the afternoon from 16.30 hours) or a bound flight (Saturdays and Sundays from 17: 00 to 20: 00), at the cost of only 10 euro!
