Cooking show, chocolate museum and food and wine stands at the Chocolate Festival in Ravello!

From 3 to 5 January 2017, in Ravello, in the province of Salerno, the first edition of the "Ravello Chocolate Festival", organized by the Ravellese Night association.

A sensorial and experimental journey in the chocolate world dedicated to young and old who will be able to participate in the gods cooking show with chefs and confectioners, visit the chocolate museum and explore the eno-gastronomic area, where the exhibition stands will be set up.

The event is not the usual chocolate fair but an instrument for develop and spread the culture of taste. In addition, a food and wine area will be set up in Piazza Fontana, and the competition has been announced "ChocoRavello - AAA Cioccolatino for Ravello wanted" during which pastry chefs, chefs and chocolatiers will have to devise new shapes and flavors to give to chocolate. On January 5th, the finalist projects will be presented in the Bonadies Hotel.

An experience in the name of sweetness, gastronomic heritage and the skill of talented confectioners.

  • 18:00 - Umberto Ventriglia, “Personal Chef” - Raw buffalo on hemp crumble, mayonnaise with aubergines and chocolate, and Leghorn gold.
  • 19.00 pm - Gabriele Martinelli, chef of “Dining under a different sky” organized by Alfonsina Longobardi - Duck with chocolate and Jerusalem artichoke.

4 January 2017

  • 18 pm - Pamela Hallmark, food blogger * - "Chocolate" parfait with pizza.
  • 19:00 - Alfonso Crisci, chef of Taverna Vesuviana - Spaghetti with tomato and chocolate

5 January 2017

  • 18:00 - Antonio Arfè, APCI chef - Risotto with pears, provolone del monaco mousse and spicy chocolate wafer.
  • 19:00 - Max Ramirez, chef of Kashi Tropical Concept - Argentine Churrasco with a side dish of tapioca polenta and chocolate and uchuva sauce. Tasting of Venezuelan sweets (negro en camisa with passion fruit sauce).
  • 20: 00 - Award ceremony of the chocolat winner of the "ChocoRavello Contest" and charity auction.

In addition, the Chocolate Museum will be open every day from 10.00 to 22.00 and the market area will also be open every day.

  • cooking show at the Bonadies hotel on the afternoons of the 3 and 4 days on January 2017 (from 18 onwards)
  • chocolate museum in the hall inside the premises of the former registry office (in Piazza Fontana)
  • food and wine area in Piazza Fontana
