In Naples the first beneficial running flashmob, Women in Run, to say NO to violence against women
Every day the page of the crime news is filled with news about violence against women. Whether it is psychological or physical, it seems that for many men, who often have the face of those we love and know, has become the only way to express their virility.
Due to the lack of legal punishment of the aggressors and inadequate protection of our rights, the phenomenon has spread and it concerns all social and age groups. Against violence, people take to the streets all over the world to make the power of our voice heard and for this reason we too must do so.
In this regard in Naples, the 24 January 2015 at 9.00, in via Caracciolo, there will be the first beneficial flashmob runnig Women in Run, created following the attack on a runner in Milan. To participate you do not need to be athletes, each one with her step will march and say NO to violence; the event will take place simultaneously in 40 cities.
Some Onlus who work in the social sector will provide information on their activities to prevent and combat violence and collect non-mandatory offers of the participants.
The way to go is still long but the goal is not so far.
