Kiss Me Day, in Naples the flashmob against homophobia

Kiss Me Day, the flashmob against homophobia, will be a response to the episode of violence that took place in Piazza Dante against a homosexual couple

Il Kiss Me Day the next one will be organized 6 December 2014 in the central Piazza Dante of Naples and wants to be an answer to the deplorable event happened yesterday 24 November in the same square.

Around 22 pm, in fact, a serious episode of violence raised the issue of homophobia in the city and prompted many citizens to mobilize. Near Port'Alba, a couple of homosexual boys was attacked and beaten by a man as she is intent on hugging and kissing. Evidently the homophobic nature of the individual prevailed and one of the boys was rescued at the nearby Pellegrini (where he received stitches).

The Kiss Me Day on Saturday will be the Citizenship response to all incidents of discrimination, not just sexual. A gesture of denunciation that will be carried out through a simple action, but full of meaning: a kiss. The flashmob will obviously be invited all, homosexual and heterosexual couples who, with their kisses, howl a no to homophobia and any other type of discrimination.

The event is organized by the association Antispecisti Partenopei and the place chosen, Piazza Dante, in addition to being the one where the episode of violence took place, is also a few steps from Piazza Bellini, the true heart of integration in Naples. Square where in the past some other similar episode has happened, but which is very popular precisely because it is also a symbol of the fight against all discrimination.
