On Tuesday 7 November 2017 there will be a temporary opening of the Faito cableway to facilitate communications between Castellammare and Vico Equense interrupted by bad weather.

The EAV company, Ente Autonomo Volturno, has issued a notice due to the Maltempo which has hit many areas of the Neapolitan, and the rest of Campania, in the last hours.
In fact, from Tuesday 7 novembre 2017, exceptionally, it will be reopened Faito cableway at 9.00 to make it easier links between Mount Faito and the towns of Castellammare di Stabia and Vico Equense.
There was a major bad weather emergency that interrupted road communications between the aforementioned municipalities and Faito, for this reason the Faito cable car will be useful for those who will have to move between these areas.
