In the unusual scenery of the Galleria Borbonica in Naples, the evocative contemporary dance show Ovo!
Sunday 26 February 2017 both at Borbonic0a Gallery of Naples will be presented a new contemporary dance show entitled Egg, directed by Marco Auggiero.
Reduced by the success at the Politeama Theater and by prestigious awards at the festivals, such as the first prize in the choreographic competition won as part of the Festival Oriente Occidente in Rovereto, a unpublished version and adapted to its new frame. The company Mart Dance, very active in the international dance scene and repeatedly awarded in major choreographic competitions, will perform, in fact, in the depths of Bourbon Gallery and the public will be able to assist in an involving and close to the show made in collaboration with Visivo Comunicazione.
Egg he wants to be both a tribute to the Neapolitan city, taking up the symbolism of the egg already appeared in the legend of Virgil and of the Castel dell'Ovo, both want to represent a broad spectrum reflection on genetic mutations. The choreographer will start from the symbol of the egg as a source of animal life and will translate it towards the concept of "ovum", origin of human life, threatened by continuous mutations that regulate the entire life cycle, studying the dichotomy evolution / involution of the species.
