Due to urgent restoration work, the technical offices of the Municipality of Naples, based in Palazzo San Giacomo, have prepared the complete closure of the stretch of road at the entrance to the Four Days Gallery and of the same Gallery that connects Chiaia to Fuorigrotta.
The Gallery will be impassable for a few hours, on the night of Thursday 9 and Friday 10 December 2021, in particular from 22:00 and until 06:00 in the morning.
Closing of the Quattro Giornate Gallery: the causes
The Closure of the Four Days Gallery in Naples it was an almost mandatory decision for the Municipality of Naples in order to solve the problem of uneven manhole covers in Via Salita della Grotta.
The restoration work will be carried out by the company Hitachi Rail Sts, an Italian joint stock company operating mainly in the sector of railway and metro transport systems.
Therefore, all those who have to reach Fuorigrotta from Mergellina will be able to use the preferential lane of the Lazio Gallery, or the Posillipo Gallery.
