Also the Galleria Quattro Giornate in Naples was closed to traffic due to water infiltrations which made it unusable and immediately created a serious problem with circulation.
The Municipality of Naples, as soon as it became aware of the damage, immediately prepared a closure measure and an inspection by the Fire Brigade who, together with the commander of the Municipal Police, ascertained the presence of large cracks and evident infiltrations at the entrance of the Quattro Giornate Gallery., which connects Mergellina to Fuorigrotta.
The alternative traffic device
It was immediately necessary to prepare an alternative traffic plan hijacking cars in the emergency lane, in contradiction where buses and taxis also pass, of the Lazio Gallery, which however is not able to handle all that traffic from Piazza Sannazaro to Fuorigrotta.
Alternatively, there is the large tour that can be done taking Corso Vittorio Emanuele, via Tasso and the Vomero, to then reach Fuorigrotta and vice versa.
The works and the reopening
Unfortunately at the moment the Municipality is unable to communicate the reopening times, but work of extreme urgency immediately began to try to reopen safely as soon as possible
The closure of the Vittoria Gallery
We remind you that the traffic in Naples is already low and very heavy also because of the Galleria Vittoria which has now been inaccessible for many months and which, hopefully, should reopen by the end of the year.
