Mika will be the special guest at Giffoni Film Festival 2016 in which there will be other important guests!
July 15th - 24th 2016 the awaited Giffoni Experience will take place previously Giffoni Film Festival, in the city of Giffoni Valle Piana, in the province of Salerno.
The festival, conceived by Claudio Gubitosi and dedicated to children's cinema, is an interesting and important event that has changed its name to Giffoni Experience, to underline the complete experience that it represents, with its collateral activities.
Also in this edition the protagonists are the boys from all over Italy, divided by age group, who will take on the role of jurors. After seeing the films in competition, belonging to various genres and which are both feature films and short films, they will declaim the winner of the Gryphon Award.
Furthermore, every day the jurors will meet various guests of the film and entertainment world, with whom they engage in a debate and satisfy their growing curiosity. L'guest of honor will be the singer Mika, which will be present on 22 July in two events: at 13.00 in the “Meet the Stars” in the Truffaut Room and in the afternoon with the juries. On this occasion he will be given the Best Talent Award.
The theme of the event are the destinations, which are not only the destination of a journey, but also an achievement of an individual goal, without forgetting the need to be guided by others with more experience. Furthermore, we should not forget the problem of migrants looking for a better destination in a foreign country.
There will also be many free admission concerts in Piazza Lumiere, linked by a main theme, namely the South. The program is below.
