This year the Thanksgiving Day falls by Thursday 28 November 2019 and, as we all know, this is the typical American holiday that has been celebrated by us for several years. Some dinners also take place in the premises of Naples, taking up the typical dishes of the festivity based on turkey, potatoes, pumpkin and sauces.

The Pilgrims, finding large uncultivated territories, cultivated them, obtaining rich products that pushed them to thank God for the abundant harvest. From then on, every year we observe this tradition, which became an opportunity to thank our loved ones and relatives.

Birdy's Bakery in Portici
The bakery in Naples, Birdy's, also has a beautiful and popular venue in Portici which offers one Thanksgiving sandwich for Thursday 28 November 2019.
Dinner includes traditional American turkey, baked pumpkin, provolone, flavored mayonnaise and baby spinach. In addition, in accompaniment, there are croutons, mashed potato, salad and pumpkin soup. A gift from Birdy's Bakery is free for everyone.

Also this year the restaurant in via Carlo Poerio proposes a dinner dedicated to Thanksgiving Day with the typical holiday turkey. Il Cellaio will surely accompany the dish with traditional side dishes and sauces, but for more information we recommend contacting the restaurant directly.
