Giro d'Italia in Naples: flash road restyling for 10 million euros

The next 11st May 2023 il Tour of Italy it will also cross Naples and on this occasion the city tries to redo its look in record time.

A huge working plan, the largest ever seen, which will activate a construction site series in charge of road repairs. We're talking about 20 kilometers of city streets, for a total value of 10 million euros, which will affect various streets of the Neapolitan city. Everything will be operational from 27 February at the 30 April 2023.

The work plan, financed by the Metropolitan City, affects various city ​​streets. In particular:

Not only the Giro d'Italia, but also an opportunity for the viability

The objective of the road development plan is twofold: on the one hand, guaranteeing smooth and safe traffic in view of the passage of the Giro d'Italia and, on the other, improving the quality of life of citizens, offering them safer and more comfortable roads.

To achieve this goal, the interventions have been planned in order to mitigate the inevitable disturbances to traffic, with particular attention to the critical areas of the city.
