A professional golf challenge in the evocative park of the Reggia di Caserta where everyone can take special lessons
Tomorrow, Saturday June 7 2014, the wonderful park of the Royal Palace of Caserta it will turn into a real one golf course thanks to the event Caserta Golf City Challenge.
From 10 in the morning, and throughout the day, golf enthusiasts or simply curious about this elegant and refined sport, can go to the park of the Royal Palace of Caserta to then attend, in the afternoon, the unmissable competition between two internationally renowned golfers, Lorenzo Gagli and Veronica Zorzi, who will compete along the five-hole course that goes from the opening of the Palace to the Italian garden, from the Aeolus fountain to that of the Dolphins up to the garden of the arts.
But viewers will not just assist. If they wish they can take part in special golf lessons followed by teachers and professionals experiencing the unique emotion of playing in the suggestive setting of the Royal Palace of Caserta, which will also be filmed by the Sky and Rai cameras that will follow the day in Caserta.
The professional golf competition will be held in the afternoon, after a guided tour of the building designed by Luigi Vanvitelli which will be the prelude to the press conference with golfers Lorenzo Gagli and Veronica Zorzi before the start of the competition.
The objective of the event organized by Prodea in collaboration with Land Rover and realized with the contribution of the Campania Region, is that of bring the public closer to cultural heritage and artistic heritage in an interesting combination of art and sport, as happened in the past few years in Florence with the Ponte Vecchio Golf Challenge.
