Appointment for the traditional Grand Ball with tasting in the evocative rooms of the Bourbon Gallery!
Saturday 27 February 2016 la Bourbon Gallery hosts an exceptional event in the name of tradition, the Great Bourbon Ball. The initiative stems from a collaboration between Galleria Borbonica, the "Naples dance company", the artistic cultural association "Interno A14" of Vincenza Donzelli and Maestro Simonetta Tancredi.
The evening will open in the rooms of the Palazzo Serra di Cassano with one short singing performance of the soprano Leontina Alvano, accompanied by the harpsichord by Simonetta Tancredi. The performances will continue in the majestic hypogea of the Bourbon Gallery with dances in period costume: choreography and original music from the Bourbon period they will evoke the ancient atmosphere.
After the performance of the dancers a buffet lines in which the Bourbon tradition returns protagonist: it will be possible to taste tastings of lasagnette and the typical ones cuoppi'of frying, accompanied by wine from the Sannio region. The tasting will end with the classics Neapolitan babas, Caprese cakes e desserts offered by the historic chocolate factory Gay-Odin.
Anyone who wants, after the buffet, can spend time with expert masters of the "Società di danza Napoli" to try the steps of the Bourbon dances. Reservation for the event is mandatory.
