Sergio Rubini's film
The director's initial idea Sergio Rubini was to come up with a TV series, but then he decided to go for the 142-minute film. The actors who will play the three brothers will be: Mario Autore in the role of Eduardo, Domenico Pinelli in the role of Peppino and Anna Ferraioli Ravel in the role of Titina. The natural father of the three brothers, Eduardo Scarpetta, is played by Giancarlo Giannini and his son Vincenzo da Biagio Izzo.
The De Filippo Brothers was born from the deep passion that the director, Sergio Rubini, has for the De Filippo family and in particular for Eduardo. The film will tell the story of the three brothers, whose natural father never recognized them and who rather identifies himself as an uncle, and of the mother who instead loved them deeply.
