The Neapolitan dialect celebrated in the Church of San Severo al Pendino

At the Monumental Complex of San Severo, the great Neapolitan celebration will be held "The Neapolitan Dialect ... between yesterday and tomorrow ..." with an inevitable tribute to Eduardo De Filippo!

Naples is beautiful as you know, its warmth, its colors, its good food and its music make it a city that is hard to beat. And for those who do not know also the Neapolitan dialect constitutes a primacy given that it has been recognizedUNESCO as a language, second to Italian only by diffusion.

And it is for this reason that the Neapolitan language will be celebrated with "The Neapolitan Dialect ... between yesterday and tomorrow ..." a real Neapolitan party to be held Wednesday 19 November 2014 at the Monumental Complex of San Severo in Pendino.

Organized byThe Cultural Association of the Ancora of Partenope and sponsored by the City of Naples, the event will honor the most "exported" dialect in the world, through classic poems, historical relationships, songs and theater scenes.
Among artists-guests who will intervene, appear the poets Ciro De Novellis and Ino Fragna, the guitarist Claudio Paesano and the singer Stefania Marra who will perform in the most beautiful and fascinating classic Neapolitan songs and free performances.

As free will be the space dedicated to the new talents of the Literary and Existential Poetic Practice Course will bring to light one Neapolitan youth genuine, linked to its roots and tradition.

The poetry of the great will not be lacking Ernesto Murolo, elegantly interpreted by the actress Anita Buono who will thrill the guests with “O miercurì da 'a Madonna do'Carmene”.

And among such beauty, he could not be there, the immortal Eduardo De Filippo that, on the occasion of the thirty years since his death, will become the star of the day with a special tribute.
