Josi Gerardo Della Ragione, the mayor of bacoli, announces a wonderful news to all citizens from his facebook page, namely the arrival in the city of Metro of the Sea.
The maritime service also kicks off this season connecting the city of Bacoli in Naples and Sorrento peninsula, allowing citizens to reach places of interest both on the Vesuvian and Phlegrean side and on the Cilento side in the months of July, August and September.
This summer the project also starts Streets of the sea which connects 27 ports in Campania.
Metro del Mare in Bacoli
The Metrò del Mare, the maritime service, starts again for this year thanks to the support of the Campania region, inserting among the stops also the city of Bacoli.
Indeed, there will be well three boarding points to and from Bacoli or Baia, Marina Grande and Torregaveta, with stops on the islands of Ischia and Procida. In short, a sea connection network that will allow you to reach some of the most beautiful places in our area.
The Metro of the Sea for Cilento will connect the ports of Agropoli, San Marco di Castellabate, Acciaroli, Casal Velino, Pisciotta, Palinuro, Camerota and Sapri. Connections are also scheduled for Salerno, the island of Capri and the Amalfi Coast.
