What is the fiction about?

The TV series is an Italian drama directed by Claudius Amendola, who also plays the lead role. It is a remake of the Spanish show “Living Without Permission” from 2018.

The story revolves around the life and experiences of Nemo Bandera, a successful businessman and drug trafficker who, just before the age of 60, is diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Illness makes it difficult for Nemo to remember the crimes he committed in front of the authorities looking for him. Despite his illness, Nemo tries to hide it and at the same time tries to find a suitable heir to succeed him in the business.

Next to him are his wife Serena and the children Carlo e Nina. Nemo also has a daughter, Lara, born from his relationship with his great love Ada. It is the inspector who gets his nose into the Bandera family business Monterosso, determined to reveal the true identity of the entrepreneur.
