From the 4 6 May 2023, National Railway Museum of Pietrarsa will be the location chosen to host the second edition of Books on the go, the Book Fair – City of Portici, organized by the “Quinto Orazio Flacco” high school in Portici (NA).
The event will be attended by more than 50 authors e 30 publishing houses, with dozens of activities between WORKSHOPS, round tables, presentations, theater show and music to enliven the three days of the Book Fair. Among guests most anticipated, include writers of the caliber of Dacia Maraini, Chiara Gamberale, Lorenzo Marone and Maurice DeGiovanni.
Between poetry, workers and… travel
La poetry will play a leading role thanks to the contribution of some of the best-known players in the sector in Italy. THE WORKSHOPS, on the other hand, will be aimed mainly at young and will take place in the high school and in local schools. The students of the online school newspaper "Comete" will take care of the press office of the event.
The main theme of the event is the journey. The relationship between the literary dimension and everyday reality is illustrated in the presentation poster:
