The President of the Campania Region Vincenzo De Luca established the Regional Committee for the coordination of relief and assistance interventions and activities for Ukrainian refugees who are fleeing the war.
The first meeting has already taken place during which the situation was taken stock and discussed on the way forward and the operations to plan to help these people.
It is a contribution that our Region gives to the Government in managing the thousands of refugees who are arriving in our country and the many who are expected to arrive. It is included in the support at the Reception plan of the Ministry of the Interior which is implemented by the Prefectures.
The priorities of the Regional Committee
This new Committee will deal primarily with:
- guarantee health care to Ukrainian citizens;
- check at distribution of refugees in Campania.
The appeal of the Committee to those hosting refugees: communicate it to the ASL
There are many people in Campania, and also in our Naples, who are giving great proof of solidarity hosting Ukrainian citizens fleeing the war started by Russia.
To make this help even more effective and concrete, our fellow citizens must follow the appeal of the Committee:
- it is necessary that everyone communicates to the ASL the people hosted who arrive from abroad, otherwise the STP codes, i.e. Temporarily Present Foreigner, essential for access to health services, cannot be issued.
In this way, rescue activities can be better coordinated.
The composition of the Regional Committee
The newborn Regional Committee chaired by the President of the Regional Council or his delegate. Is composed by:
- the Prefect of Naples who coordinates the Prefectures of the regional territory;
- the Police Commissioner of Naples;
- the Director General for Public Works and Civil Protection of the Region;
- the President of ANCI Campania;
- the Director General for Health Protection and Coordination of the Regional SSR;
- the Director General for Social and Socio-Health Policies of the Region;
- the Director General for Mobility of the Campania Region.
Ha headquarters in the EMERCOM room of the Regional Civil Protection which is located in Tower C3 of the Naples Business Center.
