Also to Napoli stops on Bike Italy Day, a fun and joyful ride that will take place on 2 June 2021, for the Republic Day.
The date coincides with World Bicycle Day, established by the United Nations three years ago to promote the use of this eco-sustainable vehicle whose environmental and social benefits are very high.
This event will not only take place in Naples, but in other 100 cities of Italy precisely to raise awareness of the importance of using the bicycle to improve their health, prevent disease e help the environment.
The Bikeitalia Day in Naples: how to participate
It is a stage of the Naples Bike Festival e anyone can participate for free in the event, just be in possession of a bicycle, even from the city, since the path that will be tackled will be mainly flat. Anyone who does not own a bike can rent one to the Bicyclehouse by sending an email to bicyclehouse.na@gmail.com.
The departure is from Piazza Municipio and the walk will last around 2 hours, crossing symbolic places of Naples. It is not a tiring or complicated itinerary, so people who have not used the bicycle for a long time can also participate.
The event is sponsored by the Municipality of Naples and the police will assist cyclists along the way. It is promoted by Napoli Pedala, Maestri di Strada, Greenpeace GL Napoli, Partenope in Bici and Percorsi Cumani.
