Technology will be at the service of art thanks to the “Digital Invasions” at the Madre Museum

From 24 April at 3 May 2015, Mother Museum of Naples they will land "Digital Invasions", the extraordinary initiative dedicated to art, the web and social media.

The event, born in 2013 from an idea by Fabrizio Todisco and Marianna Marcucci, will see citizens and tourists with cell phones, tablets and all sorts of digital devices, immortalize the historical, artistic and cultural beauties kept in the Museum of Neapolitan contemporary art.

A prestigious occasion that has successfully involved Italy and the world for many years and represents an intelligent way for enhance and disseminate the enormous heritage guarded by our cities through modern points of view.

These aspects related to the current technological revolution, now firmly rooted in all of today's societies and which is also taking hold in Italy, through a slow process of modernization and innovation that see it placed on par with other European countries.

The Digital Invasions therefore represent for Naples and Italy a precious stop for a new way of conceiving art and culture and to further enhance the enormous treasures preserved and shared through an "open and widespread" approach, the main characteristic of the digital age.
