At Lido Varca d'Oro in Marina di Varcaturo, in the municipality of Giugliano in Campania, Sunday 17 July 2022 at 21:30, on the occasion of the musical event Living Stone Sunset there will be concert of the Neapolitan saxophonist James Senese.
The artist will perform accompanied by a super live band, made up of the drummer Freddy Malfi, by the bass player Rino Calabritto and the keyboard player Alessio Busanca, and will make guests listen to his new album, the twenty-first, entitled James is Back.
With the sound of his sax and his incredible voice, James Senese will perform live for guests, giving him a very special and definitely unmissable evening.
James Senese: the biography
James Senese, pseudonym of Gaetano Senese, was born in Naples on January 6, 1945. He immediately engages in music as a saxophonist, embarking on his artistic career together with Mario Musella and other friends, with whom he founded the complex in Terzigno Gigi and his Asters.
Then he founded the group Central Naples together with his friend Franco Del Prete, a band with which he achieves a truly incredible success. He has edited several film soundtracks and was part of the supergroup of the great Pino Daniele. In 2018, on the occasion of his 50-year career, he published a double live recorded at the Tasso Theater in Sorrento.
