After the terrible attack on Charlie Hebdo, Naples says enough with a flash mob open to all citizens

A difficult week for Naples has just passed. First the disappearance of the singer-songwriter Pino Daniele then, almost simultaneously, the shock related to the most serious terrorist attacks that hit Paris.

Criminal attacks that have been launched against the newspaper Charlie Hebdo and that practically exterminated the editorial office, causing the death of twelve people.

Hours of terror they have seen Napoli and the world with bated breath, to pray, to hope, in vain, that everything would be resolved for the best.

In light of what happened, the city joins its French cousins ​​and Europe, saying enough to terror and defending the freedom of the press, of expression and information.

The Neapolitan message will therefore be transformed into a flash mob titled "Je suis Charlie" set for the 12 January 2015 at Largo Berlinguer, near the Metro line 1 in via Toledo.

The initiative is open to all citizens, who will have to present themselves with broken pencils and pens in hand, French flags and signs bearing the words "Je suis Charlie".

The event, the organizers explain, will be dedicated to solidarity and against all forms of violence and will see citizens and tourists intone the first and last stanza of "La Marseillaise". A way to demonstrate the Neapolitan condolences and closeness and to unite against yet another crime against civilization.
