Dante and Virgil will meet the damned souls of the infernal circles in Dante's Inferno at the Museo del Sottosuolo!

In Museum of the Underworld of Naples will be scheduled new appointments with the show "Dante's Inferno”Which has always been a great success since its first replicas.

Il 20, 27, 30 and 31 January 2016 the new dates will again relive the characters told by the great poet and the infernal circles in which they move. Through a series of singular meetings, Dante will meet many lost souls, moving in the ten circles of Hell in search of the much desired Love.

There will be three i fundamental moments that will comprise the show, each of which will take place in a different room of the Museum of the Underground, a huge space that develops on 3000mq, right in the heart of the city, 25 meters below Piazza Cavour.

The White Room

In the first room, dedicated to the first daughter of the father of urban speleology in Naples, Clemente Esposito, who also owns the premises on the surface, Dante is with Virgilio, who frees him from the three fairs: Lonza, Land and Lion. The two begin their hellish journey with all its obstacles: they will overcome the wrath of Caron Dimonio, they will cross the beach defying the shouts of Minos, they will listen to the soothing words of Beatrice, until they meet the lovers Francesca and Paolo, thrilling in front of their embrace.

The Sala delle Riggiole

In the second room, dedicated to Michele Quaranta, Dante and Virgilio will meet on their journey Cerberus and Pluto, the God of Wealth, who will try to block their journey. But despite the many difficulties, also represented by the Furies, the Megera, the Medusa and Farinata degli Uberti, among others, the two will be able to continue and get closer to their goal.

The Hall of War

In the room dedicated to Lucio Bartali, Dante and Virgilio will introduce the last three characters to the public. It is about Ulysses, made famous for the quote "you were not made to live like Bruti but to follow virtue and knowledge “, Of the desperate Count Ugolino and of Lucifer, represented as the Absolute Evil.
