Our Lady of the Rosary of Pompeii heads towards Monte Faito from 26 to 30 July 2023 .
This sacred event will take place at the Sanctuary of San Michele Arcangelo at Monte Faito, Naples.
The program of the event
Wednesday 26th July.
The Pilgrim Picture of Our Lady of the Rosary of Pompeii will depart from the EAV Pompei Scavi – Villa de Misteri Railway Station at 15pm0. He will be welcomed in the square of the Castellammare station at 16 pm and will go up to Monte Faito by cable car.
At 16pm, there will be a welcoming prayer, a greeting from the authorities and a procession towards the Sanctuary with the participation of the Brotherhoods. The procession will be accompanied by the band "Don Moses Mascolo".
At 18:00, there will be a pilgrimage of the Parish of St. Anthony of Padua with a Eucharistic celebration presided over by Don Catello Malafronte. The day will end with musical entertainment in the churchyard.
Thursday July 27th
The day will begin at 9:00 with the "Good morning to Maria" and the recitation of the Rosary. The Eucharistic celebration will follow at 10:30, the recitation of the Rosary at 11:30, and the Supplication to the Blessed Virgin of the Rosary of Pompeii and the Eucharistic Celebration at 12:00.
At 15:00, there will be Eucharistic Adoration, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, and a visit to families.
The day will end with the recitation of the rosary at 17:00 and the Eucharistic celebration presided over by HE Francesco Alfano at 18:00.
Friday July 28th
The program will be similar to that of the previous day, with the addition of the pilgrimage of the Parish of San Renato di Moiano and the Eucharistic celebration presided over by Don Maurizio Esposito at 18:00.
Saturday July 29th
There will be the presentation of the volume "Bartolo Longo and the Archangel of Faito" at 19:00, followed by a prayer vigil. At the end, there will be a torchlight procession in the churchyard of the sanctuary and the consecration of the towns of the Lattari mountains to the Madonna del Rosario of Pompeii.
Sunday July 30th
There will be Holy Masses at 9:00, 10:30, 12:00 and 18:00.
At 18:00, there will be Holy Mass presided over by HE Mons, Tommaso Archbishop Prelate of Pompeii.
At the end, there will be a procession of the Effigy of the Madonna with the Auto Cappella through all the streets of Faito.
The Way of the Angel
The Way of the Angel will be held on 31 July and 1 August 2023.
This event represents the 18th Way of the Angel and the Forgiveness of Failure, during which it will be possible to obtain the Plenary Indulgence.
