The Van Gogh Multimedia exhibition and The Secret Room in Naples at Palazzo Fondi

A wonderful event from March 19th to June 26th 2022 will take place at Palazzo Fondi in Naples with the Van Gogh Multimedia Exhibition and The Secret Room.

The exhibition is organized by Navigare Srl and will give you the opportunity to take part in a truly evocative experience.

The exhibition also features one original work by Van Gogh, along with 11 others by other artists from the Impressionist and Belle Époque periods, also original and from private collections. They are by Bernard, Cézanne , Cormon, Gauguin , Mauve, Monticelli, and Toulouse-Lautrec , and are displayed in the Secret Room section.

The exhibition between art and technology

Naturally, the focus of the exhibition at Palazzo Fondi will be the troubled figure of Van Gogh , whose artistic career will be presented through a multimedia exhibition featuring self-portraits, portraits, still lifes, and much more. The exhibition, in Italian and English, spans over 700 square meters . It includes portraits, landscapes, self-portraits, and still lifes, as well as, as mentioned, some original works.

Inside the Secret Room, you can admire works from private collections curated by Vincenzo Sanfo. For the first time, you'll find original engravings, etchings , watercolors, and oil paintings , emblematic of the beautiful period spanning the second half of the 800th century and the first two decades of the 900th century.

, together with a collection of artistic clothes dedicated to the works of van Gogh and part of the cultural project "Art Couture Sicily" conceived by the fashion art designer Gisella Scibona, actively involved in the sector, also in favor of other artists.

Also on display are three mosaics made by the children of the “ Fondazione Bambini e Autismo Onlus ” of Pordenone, based on van Gogh's paintings.

It will be a truly unique and immersive experience, thanks to the use of cutting-edge technology, such as VR Experience for 3D viewing via a dedicated app and thanks to the Oculus VR360 QHD technology.

The famous yellow bedroom by Van Gogh

The life-size reproduction of the famous bedroom in the “ yellow house ” in Arles, Provence, where Van Gogh lived between 1888 and 1889, is very beautiful. A work that always moves, even if it is a reproduction in this case.

• Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec: Babylone (1894), La Revue Blanche (1895), La Coiffure (1898);
• Adolphe Joseph Thomas Monticelli: Women in a park;
• Fernand Cormon: Nurse in prayer (1914);
• Emile Bernard: The Venetian (1929).
