The most beautiful ship in the world, Amerigo Vespucci, returns to be seen in the Gulf of Naples, where it arrived on May 25 and will remain until Friday 27 May 2022 for the “Integrated Vespucci-Palinuro 2022 Program” which was organized by Procida and Monte di Procida together with the Navy.
The more it turns, in the past years, the wonderful training ship stopped in our Gulf, staying even a few days in the Port of Naples, to allow enthusiasts and the curious to have a view inside.
It is always a unique experience in the world because the ship is truly impressive.
The salute to Procida with cannon shots
The training ship also paid tribute to Procida, the Capital of Culture firing cannon shots in the air, after circumnavigated Ischia. From here she then arrived at the Marina di Corricella, the famous colorful seaside village of the island of Procida where she was joined by a delegation from the Caracciolo Nautical School.
Right from here he fired four cannon shots to pay homage to the Capital of Culture.
After this greeting, the Amerigo Vespucci sailed up to the Procida canal for also greet Monte di Procida, with the welcome of the mayors and other representatives of the institutions, to then make a relay race with the Anteo ship, which was also in our Gulf for the aforementioned project.
