La city of Amalfi shines with lights, in fact, just this afternoon the traditional Christmas lights were turned on. Citizens and tourists will be able to stroll through the alleys of Amalfi and be enveloped by the sweet Christmas atmosphere.
In fact, the streets of the historic center of Amalfi are a riot of lights and colours, between garlands hanging from the balconies, illuminated tree-lined avenues, the Saracen Tower illuminated with a wonderful comet star, and then trees dotted with lights in Piazza Flavio Gioia, illuminated Christmas animal figures and much more on the programme.
In this festive atmosphere, the party dedicated to the will also take place on 30 November 2023 patron of the city of Amalfi, that is Saint Andrew.

The switching on of the Christmas lights in Amalfi took place this afternoon at 17pm, the city was transformed into a Christmas landscape starting from the sea up to the Valle dei Mulini, passing through Piazza Municipio. The lights will remain in the city until January 6, 2024, day of the Epiphany
