Alex Kingston plays Shakespeare's Macbeth at the theater and the show will also be broadcast in Naples cinemas
Not just concerts, but also great theatrical performances. This is how cinema is evolving in recent months. We have often witnessed the projection, on a big screen, of live by important international artists, such as Morrissey e Paul McCartney, but now it's the turn of the classics of the theater.
For the first time, in fact, it will be possible to enjoy the representation of one of the most important theatrical texts of all time: the Macbeth by William Shakespeare. For one evening only, on November 19, 2013, in Italy, including Naples, the cinemas will screen the show held at the important National Theater in London.
Directed by Rob Ashford and Kenneth Branagh and the main performer is Alex Kingston and was recorded, for the occasion, in a deconsecrated Manchester cathedral, during the Manchester International Festival. It will be transmitted in the original language with subtitles in Italian, to fully experience the intensity of the tragedy.
The cinema of Naples that will transmit it will be the Metropolitan, The Space e America Hall. In the rest of Campania, it will be screened at The Space in Nola and Salerno.
