Classical music sacred and not at the Maggio in Musica 2016 at the Borgo dei Vergini in Naples.
The 7 May 2016, at the auditorium of the Missionary Fathers of San Vincenzo de 'Paoli, the concert festival will begin May in Music at Borgo dei Vergini, organized by the Music Association Mysterium Vocis.
Concerts of sacred classical music will take place in the church while those of secular music in the auditorium. The repertoire will also include the performance of passages from the Neapolitan tradition in a concert-show and the performance of French artists.
The event will end with a particular tribute to the composer of the Neapolitan 700 Pietrantonio Gallo, a good author who was rediscovered by the Mysterium Vocis, who made some revisions and early modern performances of his sacred music.
One of the major participants will be maestro Rosario Totaro, in the role of tenor and conductor, the latter made up of important musicians.
