There will be new events of Fiume in Piena, in Campania and outside the region, to continue to say Stop to the Biocide of our lands
True democracy: transparency, participation in decisions, widespread control. It is the first point of the manifesto drawn up by the platform Swollen river, a movement by young people or not, associations, committees and representatives of all the local realities that want to say Stop to the Biocide that is killing the lands of Campania.
The 16 November a real "river in flood" crossed the streets of the center of Naples to make its voice heard, to ask for justice and urgent measures to repair the enormous damage that illicit spillage waste is causing lands and citizens. This is why this cannot be the only appointment and why there will be others, starting from Campania up to northern Italy.
In fact, this movement has created a real platform that has drawn up a manifesto that in 10 points makes clear, clear-cut requests to be implemented immediately. The cessation of six toxic fires, a no to the regional waste plan based on landfills and incinerators harmful to health and the environment, the immediate safety of polluted territories, a clear and definitive mapping of polluted sites and reclamation, constant control and especially, transparency.
Transparency towards citizens, who must be able to know at all times what happens, what financing is implemented, which companies deal with it. There must be clarity.
From these bases we will start for the upcoming events of Fiume in Piena that will take place before marcianise the 7 December and then a Reggio Emilia, the next day.
They will be anticipated by a large public assembly that will take place on November 30 Galleria Principe di Napoli to discuss institutional dialogue, donations and financial payments, structuring and scheduling of commitments on the territory, definitive approval of the “November 16” platform.
