The Municipality of Naples declares which are the bathing areas in the city for the 2018 summer: in many points the sea water is classified as excellent!
Like every year, with the increase in temperatures, the desire to take a nice swim and take advantage of the wonderful seaside places in Naples also grows. In this regard, the Municipality of Napoli has published ordinances in which he declares the bathing waters in the city for summer 2018 and those not recommended or prohibited.
The data comes from Arpac, the Campania Regional Environmental Protection Agency, which verified the quality of the water. The institution identifies well 9 places with excellent sea water, an element that allows citizens and visitors of the capital of Naples to take a bath without having to leave the city.

Excellent sea in Naples
Starting from northern side of the coast, in the area of Bagnoli and Posillipo, among the points with excellent water we meet Nisida, Trentaremi, Marechiaro, Punta Nera, Capo Posillipo, Posillipo and Donn'Anna, spaces where it is possible to stop freely or choose between the beaches available. Going instead in the heart of the city center, the places with excellent sea are the Lungomare Caracciolo e via Partenope, while Piazza Nazario Sauro ranks with sufficient quality.
Sea not swimming
Among unsuitable waters there are bathing San Giovanni a Teduccio and Pietrarsa, while the permanent ban is placed on the coast of Bagnoli, the military area of Nisida, the port of Mergellina and the Port of Naples.
Sul Lungomare Caracciolo, the Municipality, despite the excellent classification, has placed however a temporary ban bathing up to eventual new different ARPAC communication.
Furthermore, the prohibition of bathing in the Phlegrean coast between Miliscola and Lucrino.
