Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits will play live in Naples in Piazza del Plebiscito the next 14 July 2013. The guitarist and composer of British origins, returned to history as the brilliant creator of the ballad 'Sultans of Swing'(how can we forget his guitar solo, considered by many to be the most complicated ever composed) returns in Europe for a tour that will also stop in the capital of Campania.
72 shows will be in 25 countries of the Old Continent, with dates in Italy in May, June and July, scattered in Turin, Milan, Rome, Napoli and Lucca.
Currently the artist is on the American tour together with Bob Dylan, but soon we will meet him in front of an electrifying spectacle.
For him in his career far beyond 120 million albums sold as frontman of the Dire Straits and solo. On the occasion of the Neapolitan stage, we will certainly have the opportunity to listen to the greats successes of his repertoire, ranging from 'Money for Nothing', 'Romeo and Juliet', 'Walk of Live' to the aforementioned 'Sultans of Swing'.
