Marriage at first sight is one of the most loved programs by the Italian public, which mixes dating shows and reality shows. The tenth season of the program is back on Real Time, and when we are now at the eighth episode it can be confirmed that this time too the show has met with great success.
The experts in charge of selecting and matching the candidates in this edition are the sociologist Mario Abis, the communication expert and life coach Andrea Favaretto, and the sexologist Nada Lofreddi.
The final episode of the season will go broadcast tonight, Wednesday 19 April, at 21.20pm on Real Time.
What are the couples of this season
The protagonist couples of this edition are three:
- Mattia Benedetto and Giulia Martello,
- Irene Pignieri and Matteo Riva,
- Simona Viola and Gennaro Vergara.
This year Marriage at First Sight 2023 has introduced a significant novelty: all three couples got married in Contemporary, so that the newlyweds could discover, on their wedding day, not only their chosen partner but also all the other contestants on the show.

Gennaro and Simona: an uncertain future between doubts and misunderstandings

Mattia and Giulia: between crises, quarrels and disappointments
After an initial (but very brief) feeling between Mattia and Giulia, the situation between the two it got more and more complicated. Giulia defined the weekend together at the campsite "a nightmare”, while Mattia wrote to his friends that he was organizing the party for his divorce.

Unlike the other two couples, Irene and Matteo seem to have lived a more positive experience within the program. Their relationship grew over the weeks, managing to overcome conflicts and find a good balance.
They come to the final reunion with a serene and trusting atmosphere, however showing a certain embarrassment in confronting the difficulties of the other couples. The decision will be the result of their growth path and the solidity of the bond they have built together: bookmakers give successful.
