MeravigliArti: review of literature, theater and music at the Cappella Sansevero
Image created with AI
In the evocative baroque setting of the Sansevero Chapel , built by Prince Raimondo di Sangro, a fascinating exhibition dedicated to literature, music, and theatrical performances will be held.
MeravigliArti is a cultural initiative that will last five days, from May 7th to June 4th , on five Tuesdays . The theme of the event will be the concept of "wonder ," linked to the complex personality of the Prince of Sansevero, his many interests, and his inventiveness. Raimondo di Sangro , in fact, was the creator of the chapel's new architectural structure, the statues placed within it (including the famous Veiled Christ ), and the paintings for which he produced the colors himself, inventing new techniques. He was also a scientist, anatomist, esotericist, alchemist, and Italian man of letters.

From May 7th to June 4th , inside the Sansevero Chapel, in addition to admiring the sculptures and paintings, you can attend theatrical performances, literary readings and musical events.
The MeravigliArti initiative was organized by the Ballatoio cultural association and is presented by the Museo Cappella Sansevero, supported by Banco di Napoli SpA, which contributed to its realization.
