The month of the Conversation in Naples: many cultural events to communicate away from smartphones

A month of cultural and social events to rediscover the pleasure of conversing in many cafes and historic locations in Naples with the "Month of Conversation"
Until the 17 February 2019 in Naples, many cultural and social initiatives are scheduled for the Month of Conversation, an event aimed at disconnecting participants from electronic devices to rediscover the pleasure of conversation. Many cafes and monuments will host the many events planned for this month.
The event is inspired by a text of the philosopher George steiner and taken from his "A certain idea of Europe", which compares Europe to "a coffee full of people and words, in which verses are written, conspired, philosophised and civil conversation is practiced; (...) on the wooden tables of which, between walls yellowed by smoke, all the great philosophical systems, formal experiments, ideological and aesthetic revolutions were born. "
The event is linked to the "Disconnection Day" promoted by the Municipality of Naples less than a year ago and gives all citizens many opportunities to disconnect and listen.
