Modena City Ramblers in concert in Naples at the Busy Mezzocannone

At the Mezzocannone Occupato there will be a concert of Modena City Ramblers that will present their new album!

Four years after the release of the last album, i Modena City Ramblers have made a new work and will also present it in Naples in the concert a Mezzocannone Occupied il 14 April 2017.

Is titled "Hands like branches, at the foot roots“, Which refers to a verse of their previous song,“ Tri bicer ed grapa ”, of Balkan inspiration. Each track is the result of the work of the band, except for the song Ghost Town in collaboration with the band Calexico. It is sung entirely in English and is a mix of genres, between Morriconian, Gypsy and Celtic.

The disc is an expression of the group's feelings towards life and their artistic path, in fact according to the band it is necessary to remain firmly linked to the ground with one's roots, but at the same time embrace and welcome others, know and meet. Research and experimentationmoreover, they are at the base of all the work, both musically both in language.

The concert will be held as part of the Newroz Festival, a musical event born in 2015 with the artistic direction of the 99 Posse
