On the occasion of the 2018 Remembrance Day, the Castel dell'Ovo in Naples hosts The circle and the Shoah, a free exhibition by Giorgio Sorel.

From 11 to 30 January 2018, the suggestive spaces of Castel dell'Ovo in Naples host the exhibition "The circle and the Shoah", which will exhibit the works of Giorgio Sorel. The period is not random: the 27 January, in fact, falls on the Holocaust Memorial Day, an occasion in which the victims of the Holocaust are remembered.

Giorgio Sorel, dramatic artist and profound, it expresses pain and anguish through the skilful juxtaposition of dark and dark colors, using different materials such as glazes, sand and synthetic waxes. In a path made of awareness and emotionality, between hatred and passion, the goal is to do not forget the terrible genocide perpetrated by the Nazi regime against Jews, homosexuals, Gypsies and other categories.

The exhibition is ad free entry. Sorel, from Emilia, has always studied issues related to human nature and existence. A intense expressionist touch that scours the feelings between passion, hate and love.
