After closing last month due to the collapse of some stones from the entrance portal, the Castel dell'Ovo in Naples reopens to the public from Monday 9 May 2022.
It has officially communicated by the Municipality of Naples, also through their Facebook page, and the entrance will be the usual one at Borgo Marinari.
Consequently, they will also resume all activities which were already foreseen in the Castle considering that now all the paths are safe and even the entrance has been secured after the works.
- interventions were carried out with extreme urgency and speed just to reopen as soon as possible.
Finally both citizens and tourists will be able to return to visit this beautiful place, which was closed for about two weeks and also forced the interruption of the exhibitions inside, such as the one on Tutankhamon.
