The Attesa photographic exhibition, the widest retrospective on the master Mimmo Jodice, is set up in the Mother Museum.

Thursday 23 June 2016, il Mother museum of Naples inaugurates "WAIT 1960-2016", the largest retrospective exhibition dedicated to the master of contemporary photography, Mimmo Jodice. Will last until the 24 October.

The artist has been able to transform the camera into an instrument with which to capture not only images but above all the expressions of man while observing the reality that surrounds him.
Jodice has built his career starting from continuous research on experiments on photographic language of the sixties and seventies.

In this journey he explored places like the Mediterranean, the big cities and analyzed the everyday, the abstract and the concrete to create a ideological bridge between past and present. All the main photographic cycles of the master Jodice will be exhibited, from the initial experiments on photographic language, mentioned above, to the new unpublished series represented in this exhibition.

The inaugural evening will continue, from 22.00 to 2.00, with a party in the museum courtyards, with audiovisual performances and the music of live DJ sets.
