Empathy exhibition at Castel dell'Ovo and Casina Pompeiana in Naples

For the Empati.a exhibition in Naples there will be works by international artists at the Castel dell'Ovo and conferences at the Casina Pompeiana on the theme of “empathy” with the urban landscape.

From the 17 22 October 2017 il Castel dell'Ovo , Casina Pompeiana of Naples they will host exhibitions and conferences in the context of Empati.a project.

The initiative, which has an international entourage of sculptors, photographers and painters who will exhibit their works at Castel dell'Ovo, will try to make our city regain its role as a first-rate cultural center through empathy, that is a sort of symbiosis between the urban landscape, architecture, citizens and history.

Each artist will give their own interpretation of the theme in a collective overview that brings together the entire artistic body of Naples. With this in mind we will discuss installing a residence for artists in the Cosmopolis Hotel.

Furthermore, in the conferences at the Casina Pompeiana, in Villa Comunale, we will discuss possible achievements of the project by proposing perspectives and advantages for the city in which the suburbs will also be included for greater activities of social cohesion, economic function and identity. They will be of a political nature and will try to involve a large number of people.

identity. Speakers: the Cultural Association Kairos (Afragola) and Antonio Manfredi, Director of the
CAM Museum of Casoria.

19 October

“Acta ‐ non Verba: An artistic residency project” 17.00 pm
Presentation of the residence / hotel Hotel Cosmopolis in Augsburgo. Perspectives for
Naples / Health.
“From the universe of vision to the center of reality: a laboratory for a company
of the future ". Presentation of the social sculpture “Grandhotel Cosmopolis” in Augsburgo.
Perspectives, discourse, exchange of views. Speakers: Susa Gunzner and Sibil Sattler, Grandhotel Cosmopolis, Augusta and Ivo Poggiani, President of the III Municipality of Naples.
