Art and Music in the underground is an event that creates an evocative encounter between music, art and food and wine at the Museo del Sottosuolo di Napoli
Once again the Museum of the Underworld of Naples will be the suggestive location for a double appointment dedicated to music, art and food and wine.
The scheduled dates are two, Thursday 28 and Friday 29 November from 21: 00, for a special event that will accompany the spectators between tunnels and cisterns kept in the underground of our city, to discover secret and hidden treasures.
The event Art and Music in the Underground is organized in collaboration with WeArts, and it will reveal an artistic review that will create a magical meeting between music, audiovisual art and food and wine culture, to give life to a perfect alchemy.
This is the program planned for the two evenings:
Thursday 28th of November
- The Duo Jazz formed by musicians Tancredi Dalò (guitarist) feauturing Giulio Martino (tenor sax)
- Art exhibition edited by Marina Manfredi e Roberto G. Ferrantand, multifaceted artists who express themselves by experimenting with different languages, such as painting, but also installation, photography and sculpture, in a continuous and incessant dialogue between music and video. Their works will reinvent the galleries and passages of the location in an original way, enhancing the historical memory and at the same time respecting it
- Enogastronomic appointment with the wine tasting of the Masseria Maria Winery, located at the foot of Mount Taburno, offered by the Wine Bar Scagliola (by Nicola Scagliola and Pasquale Brillante). The protagonist of the event will be theAglianico del Taburno DOP The wines will be served in refined glass goblets by AIS sommelier and AIBES barman
Friday 29 November
- It will be the turn of the musician and composer Daniele Sepe and his pards which with its sounds will make the underground experience even more suggestive, thanks to the notes that will expand towards the vault of the cavity and will be reflected along the yellow tuff walls in a magical process of natural amplification. A musical journey that will touch Tenco, Coltrane, Jarrett, Prince, Zawinul and Gato Barbieri, but also popular music. To perform will be Daniele Sepe tenor and soprano sax, Tommy De Paola on keyboards, Davide Costagliola on bass and Paolo Forlini on drums. The artistic genius of Daniele Sepe allows him to create endless cultural contaminations. He also composed soundtracks of famous films like Harassing love of Martone, Amnesia of Salvatores e The Wholly family by Terry Gilliam.
