In Naples comes the Peace Museum focused on the culture of the Mediterranean and with a section dedicated to Pino Daniele!

Naples enriches its cultural offer with a new space, the MAMT - Mediterranean Museum of Art, Music and Traditions: wanted by the Fondazione Mediterraneo, the 29 June 2016. The museum, a free entry, will be based in a wing of the historic former Grand Hotel de Londres in Piazza Municipio.

After years of efforts and projects, MAMT presents itself as a place for dialogue between the two different Mediterranean cultures. Its rooms, spread over five floors, accommodate not only objects that testify to our past, but also many emotional and multimedia paths made of videos in 4K (there will be five thousand videos), music and photography. It will be given voice to migrants of the Mediterranean, with exhibitions on the wars in Bosnia, Syria, Palestine.

Among the many spaces there are dedicated ones architecture, religions, crafts, ecology, music: in the Music Hall traditional dances such as Fado, Flamenco, Tango, Sirtaki are told, with a special section dedicated to the Neapolitan singer-songwriter Pino Daniele. In fact, an entire plan is dedicated to him and the emotional videos centered on his person and career are already 200.

A sea of ​​traditions, the Mediterranean, which this museum celebrates in the hope that the rediscovery of a common history is the basis of a new, solid European identity.
