Free entry to the Mother Museum of Naples on 1 May 2017 with a guided tour with the director!
Al Mother Museum of Naples also the May 1 2017 there will be thefree entry, like every Monday of the year. On the occasion of the holiday, however, a day dedicated to a particular theme will be organized.
Together with director of the Museum, Andrea Viliani, which will carry out one guided tour, we will talk aboutart for rights and the right to art, to celebrate the Labor Day by linking the theme of rights to the artistic world. The meeting will be held at 18.00, while the rest of the day it will be possible to visit the permanent and temporary collections set up in the structure.
You can admire the site-specific collection on the first floor, at the entrance of Palazzo Donnaregina which is the location of the museum and the famous path of progressive establishment of the permanent collection, "To form a collection". This is located on the second floor and in other rooms located in the building. It is a series of works that have been placed in the museum since 2013, created by various artists, without a specific theme, to create a link between artist and public and ensure that the museum spaces are a place for meeting and participation.
The event on May 1st is planned in anticipation of the new May exhibitions: "We arrived" by Wade Guydon and "English fo foreginers" by Stephen Prina (from May 14) and "Perla Pollina, 1996-2016" by Roberto Cuoghi (from May 26th).
