Article contents

With the “Musica x Musei” initiative, classical music will accompany you during your visits!

The museums involved in the initiative "Music for Museums"In Naples, which will take place until December 20 2015, are the protagonists of the Mumex, “Pilot project of Museums of Excellence in Southern Italy”, promoted by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism (MiBACT), the Department for Development and Economic Cohesion (DPS) and the National Academy of Santa Cecilia.

"Musica X Musei" will be the occasion to promote the enhancement of the local excellence of the area through the proposal of musical events distributed in a very rich program of concerts!

During the visit to the participating museums there will be a musical interval during which visitors can cheer with wonderful symphonies or pieces made by trios or string quartets of the Conservatory of San Pietro a Majella, which will perform pieces by Domenico Cimarosa and evocative eighteenth-century arias.

The initiative
