There are now too many years that have divided Napoli since the death of the Neapolitan artist Pino Daniele. Her death happened on 4 January 2015 and for the anniversary of the disappearance, Naples is preparing to remember it in the best way.
On 4 January 2023, in fact, the artist will be remembered through an event that will take place at the well-known Gran Caffè Gambrinus starting from 11 in the morning where for the occasion the "Pinucci”. It's a dessert born in honor of Pino Daniele, made by Gambrinus.
This pastry, also called “half black” for Daniele's musical genre, it will be offered during the event that falls on the anniversary of his disappearance.
The birth of the Pinuccis in 2016
In 2016, i WORKSHOPS of the cafe in Piazza Trieste and Trento have decided to create a dough with a strong flavor in honor of a famous artist. The dough is made from a base of curly sfogliatella with White chocolate, cream, ricotta cheese, sponge cake and a coverage of dark chocolate.
This dessert, called "Nero a mezzo", recalls the musical genre of Pino Daniele, similar to blues. It's a delight to try.
