Samantha Cristoforetti delights us with another beautiful photo taken by the International Space Station (ISS) with which he immortalizes again the areas of the Neapolitan area.

This time it's up to Pompei and Vesuvius crater, wonderful places that the current commander of the ISS shared on Twitter with the following message:

Hello #Naples! Can you make out #Pompeii and the crater of Mount Vesuvius right next to #Naples? And a special shout-out to #Forcella, it was lovely talking to you
@CieloItinerante earlier this week – stay curious! ?#CiaoItaly #MissionMinerva

The translation is as follows: "Hello Naples, can you see Pompeii and Vesuvius near Naples? And a special thanks also to Forcella. Hello Italy". With Forcella with whom she had been in communication to answer the questions of many young people from Space

Cristoforetti, therefore, he jokes by challenging the users with a question: "Can you see Pompeii?" and he sends a greeting to all the guys from Forcella and to all the Italians.

The two photos that AstroSamantha posted are one during the day and the other at night. The ESA astronaut, who is now in charge of the Minerva mission, shows us two images that leave us breathless, as always.

We admire the Gulf of Naples, Vesuvio on the right side and the caldera dei Campi Flegrei to the left.

In the night photo, however, we can see the thousands of lights which create a very suggestive image of the same areas.
