How to get there, where to park, menus for celiacs, initiatives for children: inside, these and other useful information on Napoli Pizza Village 2013

Napoli Pizza Village 2013 will kick off in early September and last about a week. During those days, you'll be able to enter the world's largest pizzeria and enjoy a splendid view from our city's waterfront.

Let's see, however, how to get to the event location and what useful information you need to know.

• 3 September, 16-24: Classical music concert with the symphony orchestra of the Conservatory of San Pietro a Majella in Naples and World Championship of Pizzaiuolo (XII Caputo Trophy)
• 4 September, 16-24: Live music show with Rita Forte and World Championship of Pizzaiuolo
• 5 September: Show by Biagio Izzo with the monologue "What a sin is a sin"
• 6 September: Made in Sud show presented by Gigi and Ross.
• 7 September: Baccano Band music, swing and Neapolitan classics rearranged in a modern way.
• 8 September: Music with Kiss Kiss Napoli Show, presented by Gianluca Manzieri and Luca Sepe.

The shows are free and will start at 21:00.
At the fountains of Viale Dohrn there will be the International Pizza Museum with meetings, 10 stands of creative workshops and 15 craft stands, as well as the "Beautiful things from the world" by Bidonville and the stands of various sponsors.

Getting there and parking

Cars

Those arriving at Pizza Village by car have several options. Those coming from the Tangenziale (ring road) should take the Fuorigrotta exit and continue towards Centro-Mergellina. Once you reach Piazza Sannazzaro, continue on Via Caracciolo, in the traffic-free area.

Those arriving from Via Marina should take the Galleria della Vittoria and head towards Piazza Vittoria. The Village will be just a few meters away.

Those arriving from Corso Vittorio Emanuele must cross Piazza Amedeo and head towards Via Martucci.

Public transport

You can reach Pizza Village by taking the Chiaia funicular (Piazza Amedeo, Parco Margherita station). The last ride is at 12:30 AM on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and at 10:00 PM on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

If you want to take the metro , the closest stations are those on line 2: Mergellina and Piazza Amedeo stations.

As regards buses , it is possible to use the ANM night buses, for which we recommend consulting the detailed ANM page.

Parking

For those coming from the ring road: the nearest car parks are located in viale Dohrn (behind the Villa Comunale) or in viale Gramsci and via Giordano Bruno.

For those coming from Via Marina: you can park on the Riviera di Chiaia or at Garage Morellei, in via Domenico Morelli

For those coming from Corso Vittorio Emanuele: the nearest car parks are located at the Riviera di Chiaia and via Martucci.

Other useful info

At various stands, you can also order gluten-free pizza . Stand 45, Pizzeria Trattoria Ricci, located at Rotonda Diaz, offers this service. Here, you can create a truly gluten-free menu, including gluten-free desserts.

For the little ones , from Thursday the 5th to Sunday the 8th there will be a workshop called "Little Pizza Chefs Grow Up ," where they will learn how to knead, bake, and taste Neapolitan pizza. Budding pizza chefs will also experience making and cooking pizzas in custom-built ovens. They will, of course, always be supervised by experts. However, reservations are required daily at the Pizza Stadium desk at Rotonda Diaz. Children will receive a free Napoli Pizza Village T-shirt and cap. Workshop times will not be fixed and will be held continuously.

The full menu costs 10 euros and includes:

• margherita pizza or marinara (every pizzeria can also prepare its own specialty)
• drink (water, coke or Peroni)
• ice cream (Cucciolone Disc or Cucciolone Cooky) or sweet
• coffee (espresso or grandfather's coffee)

Those who do not want the full menu can buy a drink or ice cream for € 2 and water, coffee and juice for € 1.
