Multiple collective taxi Gaiola Marechiaro Naples

From 7 August you can reach Gaiola and Marechiaro with a multiple taxi, to 1,50 euro per person

Un collective multiple taxi that will act as a shuttle to allow the citizens of Naples, but also tourists and visitors, to reach the beaches of gaiola e Marechiaro, in Posillipo. To avoid the stress of traffic, parking, long bus waits and above all to make up for the lack of public transport that reaches these areas.

It is the experimental initiative conceived by the Municipality of Naples in collaboration with the taxi cooperatives. The service will start the 7 August and will last until the September 30, and will follow the path via Posillipo - via Ferdinando Russo (Gaiola) - via Marechiaro.

The expected stations are:

  • 4 for the connection via Ferdinando Russo - via Posillipo: Salvatore Di Giacomo, area in front of the ANM bus stop towards Capo Posillipo and, for intermediate stops, those already existing on via Ferdinando Russo
  • 2 for the connection via Marechiaro - via Posillipo: via Coroglio, near the ANM Posillipo-Coroglio stop, and the stop previously used by the ANM and located at street number 93 in front of the church of S. Maria del Faro

The frequency of each race will be of 30 minutes, taxis that will carry out this type of shuttle service will display the “Multiple Taxi” table on the front windshield.

The rate for each single ride will be 1,50 euro per person, the taxi drivers will have to go off with a taximeter and can leave at least three passengers on board.

In this way, at low prices (little more than a single bus ticket), Neapolitan bathers and tourists will finally be able to reach these beautiful seaside resorts in the city without problems.
